English Faculty

The English faculty at the Hunter School of the Performing Arts has particular expertise in the teaching of English to gifted and talented students. We have a strong record of success in external exams and competitions. We tailor our programs to meet the needs and the interests of our students.

English is compulsory for all Junior and Senior students. Senior students can select either Advanced or Standard English for the HSC. Senior students can also select Extension English 1 and Extension English 2 for the HSC.

Our teachers also have qualifications in Film and Digital Video, Drama, Music, Gifted Education and several other areas.
