Technical Specifications
The Hunter Theatre has a fully tiered seating capacity of 380 seats but is best used when capacity is limited to 364 seats. Dedicated spaces are available to persons with limited mobility. Lifts enable access to upper and lower levels within the theatre. Click on this link to view the Seating Plan.

Booking Enquiries
The Hunter Theatre has limited availabilty for external parties wishing to hire the facility.
- Secure a Pencil Booking for the dates you seek.
This is done by emailing the booking enquiry (see below) form to the Theatre Manager (gavinpickles@roadie.net) - This pencil booking should be made as far in advance of your event as possible and will not be released to another Client without first consulting you.
- Confirmation of the pencilled dates.
This will be made when we are able to confirm all your requirements. At this time you will be sent a kit which contains full details of the venue and a copy of Venue Hiring Licence and its relevant Schedules (the contract). - A Confirmed Booking occurs when we receive your signed copy of the Venue Hiring Licence and security deposit.

Production Information Request
To determine the approximate costs of your production, we need to know what you need. Once your booking has been confirmed, you should return the Production Information Request Form via email to the Theatre Manager as soon as possible.
Hot Box Video Production
Do you want a high quality archive copy of your production? We have a student team that can produce a High Definition and edited DVD of your show. We have three SONY 1080i HD cameras that send a live feed back to the editing suite for mixing. For more information about this service, contact the school.
HeadSpace
